Powering On for the First Time

Starting the Mechanical Device

Please follow these steps before turning on your Csmart-Digit device for the first time to ensure safe and proper operation

1 - Before plugging in any cables, check the power supply voltage and adjust the switch accordingly.

2 - Ensure the emergency button is OFF (pressed).

3 - Plug the power cord into the power supply, then press the red button to turn on the device.

4 - Connect the USB cable labeled “camera” to a USB 3.0 port on the computer.

5 - Connect the dedicated Wi-Fi device to a USB port on the computer.

6 - Release the emergency button (turning it ON).

7 - Check if the LCD is on and showing the message: "Device Ready." Mechanical components should not move at this stage. If any engine starts, turn off the system by pressing the emergency button (3).

8 - Pour a 300g coffee sample into the stainless steel hopper. Adjust the front metal flap, leaving a 3 cm gap between the feeder chute and the hopper to ensure smooth seed flow during operation.

Controlling the Device via Software

9 - On the computer, double-click the Csmart-Digit icon to open the software.

10 - Go to App Configuration on the side menu and click Acquisiton Settings

11 - Press the Camera On button and wait for the success connection message.

12 - Press the Light switch and check if the lighting system is on.

13 - Press the Belt switch, click confirm and check if the belt conveyor is moving.

14 - Adjust the Belt Speed if needed. The belt speed is first adjusted by the factory.

15 - Press the Feeder switch and check if the seeds are moving forward in the feeder chute

16 - Adjust the Feeder Speed by changing the indicated slider.

17 - Press Camera Off to successfully finish the first run test.
