Csmart Studio Installation

Introduction

Csmart Studio is a Windows desktop application designed for training AI models for image classification. It supports multiple neural network architectures and integrates seamlessly with Csmart Digit, enabling a streamlined workflow from data preparation to model deployment.

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the application, activating the license, configuring the runtime environment, training and testing models, and exporting them for use with Csmart Digit.

1. Installation using the Csmart Installer

• Click on the following link and download the csmart-studio installer for Windows.

• Locate the downloaded installer file and double-click it to begin the installation.

• Ignore any Windows or antivirus messages and proceed with the installation.

Important: Select the "Only Me" option during installation to avoid requiring admin privileges for software use.

• Once installation is complete, a Csmart Studio desktop shortcut will be created.

2. Licensing the Software

• Launch Csmart Studio by double-clicking the desktop icon.

• In the side menu, click on License.

• Click Select License and browse to the .lic file provided by the Csmart team.

• Confirm that the license is successfully loaded.

3. Installing the Runtime Environment

• From the side menu, select Runtime Environment.

• Click Install Runtime and wait for the installation process to complete.

• Check the Log Monitor to confirm that the installation finished successfully.

• Click Auto-Detect to locate the runtime installation path automatically.

• Once completed, click Check Installation to perform the final validation.
