Preparing for Optimal Performance
Csmart-Digit is a high-performance software that requires sufficient system resources, including GPU, RAM, and disk space. To ensure Csmart-Digit runs smoothly and utilizes its full capabilities, please follow the system optimization guidelines below:
- Hard Drive Space - Ensure that there is adequate disk space available on your hard drive to properly save the analysis results. At least 50 GB of free space is recommended for smooth operation.
- Laptop Power Supply - When running the software on a laptop, ensure that it is connected to a power source. Do not rely solely on battery power, as it may not provide sufficient energy to meet the demands of both the camera and the GPU.
- Windows Update and Related Services - Go to - Settings > Windows Updateand make sure there are no pending restarts or updates stuck in a loop.
- Windows Search Indexing - The Windows Search Indexer runs in the background to speed up file searches. On slower or older hard drives, it can spike disk usage. - Press - Windows + R, type- services.msc, and press Enter.
- Scroll down to Windows Search, right-click, and choose Properties.
- Under Startup type, set to Manual or Disabled, then click Stop to halt the service immediately.

- Superfetch / SysMain Service - SysMain (formerly known as Superfetch) preloads frequently used apps into memory. It can sometimes cause constant disk activity. - Press - Windows + R, type- services.msc, and press Enter.
- Find SysMain, right-click, select Properties.
- Change Startup type to Disabled, and click Stop.

- Antivirus or Antimalware Scans - Antivirus engines (like Windows Defender’s Antimalware Service Executable) can cause heavy disk usage during scans. - Let the scan finish, or schedule scans for times when you’re not using the computer.

- Monitor Task Manager: Use Task Manager to monitor disk activity. Check the Disk column to identify which processes are consuming resources when usage reaches 100%.
