Exporting professional PDF reports with charts, statistics, and image samples
The Classification Report screen generates professional PDF documents containing classification results, bar plots, scatter plots, image samples, AI metrics, and statistical summaries. Reports can be customized with your company logo and generated in multiple languages.
Prerequisites
An analysis file with completed AI classification results.
Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1. Configure Report Content
Select which components to include in the PDF report:
Component
Description
Bar Plots
Class distribution and screen size charts
Image Samples
Representative seed images from each class
Scatter Plots
Feature relationship visualizations
AI Metrics
Model performance statistics and confidence scores
Statistics
Detailed numerical summaries and tables
Toggle each component on or off using the checkboxes.
2. Filter by Screen Size
Choose which screen size categories to include in the report:
Filter
Description
OK
Include only seeds classified as acceptable
Defective
Include only seeds classified as defective
Both
Include all seeds regardless of classification
3. Upload Company Logo (Optional)
Click Select Logo to browse for an image file (.png, .jpg). The logo appears in the report header alongside the Csmart branding.
The logo path is persisted, so you only need to select it once. It is reused for all future reports until changed.
4. Select Language
Choose the report language from the dropdown:
English
Portuguese
The language selection affects all text labels, headings, and descriptions in the exported PDF.
5. Choose Single or Batch Processing
Mode
Description
Single File
Generates a report for the currently open analysis file
Batch (Folder)
Generates reports for all .hdf5 files in a selected folder
6. Filter Moka Subset (Optional)
If the analysis contains Moka (Peaberry) data, toggle the Moka filter to include or exclude Peaberry results from the report.
7. Generate the Report
Click Export PDF to begin generation. A progress bar tracks the operation:
In single mode, one PDF is generated.
In batch mode, the application processes each file sequentially with a running progress indicator.
The sidebar is locked during export to prevent navigation. The operation can take several seconds per file depending on the number of included components.
8. View the Report
When complete, the application can automatically open the generated PDF file if the auto-open option is enabled. Otherwise, click Open File to view it manually.
Output
The PDF is saved in the same directory as the analysis file with a matching filename (e.g., analysis_2026-03-25.pdf). In batch mode, each file produces its own PDF.
Configuration Persistence
All report settings (selected components, logo path, language, screen size filter) are persisted in the Electron Store and restored on subsequent visits.
