Configuring global application preferences and display options
The General Settings screen controls application-wide preferences that affect how data is displayed, processed, and stored. These settings apply across all screens and analysis files.
Settings
Display Hostname
Shows the computer's hostname for identification purposes. This is read-only and useful for multi-machine deployments where you need to track which device performed an analysis.
Record Peaberry (Moka) Beans
Toggle Record Moka to enable or disable Peaberry bean recording during image acquisition. When enabled, the Record Analysis screen shows the Moka toggle switch.
Display Moka Subset
Toggle Display Moka to show or hide the Peaberry subset in results screens (Dashboard, Reports, Exports). When disabled, Moka data is still stored but not separately displayed.
Display Classification Errors
Toggle Display Errors to show or hide seeds where the AI model had low confidence or disagreement between classification methods. Useful for quality auditing.
Relative vs. Absolute Paths
Toggle Relative Paths to switch between displaying file paths as relative (to the current folder) or absolute (full system path). This affects the Browse screen and file selection displays.
Relative to Count vs. Relative to Weight
Toggle Relative to Weight to change how percentage calculations work throughout the application:
Mode
Description
Relative to Count
Percentages are based on the number of seeds
Relative to Weight
Percentages are based on estimated seed weight
Weight-based percentages are more representative of commercial value, as larger seeds contribute more weight. Count-based percentages give equal importance to every seed regardless of size.
Send Images to Server
Toggle Send Images to control whether images are included when uploading analysis data to the cloud server. Disabling this reduces upload size significantly.
Statistics Display
The screen shows read-only counters:
Working Hours: Total recording time accumulated.
Total Analyses: Number of AI analyses run.
PFS Path
Displays the current Phenotyping Feature Set (PFS) path, which defines the feature extraction configuration used during recording.
Configuration Persistence
All toggles and preferences are persisted in the Electron Store and take effect immediately across all screens.

Solution
Moka toggle not visible on Record screen
"Record Moka" is disabled in General Settings
Enable the toggle
Percentages seem wrong in Dashboard
Using count-based mode when weight-based is expected (or vice versa)
Toggle the "Relative to Weight" setting
Working hours counter is zero
No recording sessions have been completed
The counter increments automatically during recording
